Alberto Migliore is currently Director of the Department of Rheumatology in the Internal Medicine Department at the Hospital San Pietro Fatebenefratelli in Rome (Italy) and is professor of Rheumatology at the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology of the Sapienza University in Rome. His main clinical focus is on osteoarthritis: intra-articular therapy, interventional ultrasound, probabilistic meta-analysis, biological therapy, Sjogren’s syndrome and polymyalgia rheumatica He was founding member of the “National Association for Ultrasound Guided Intra-articular Therapy of the Hip ANTIAGE-ONLUS” and is actively involved in several scientific societies among which the Italian Society of Rheumatology (SIR) and ISPOR Italy-Rome Chapter He has held the role of invited speaker in several national and international events. He has authored over 100 publications and authored or co-authored several books and book chapters and holds several editorial roles in scientific publications, among which “Archives of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery”, “Topics of Intra-Articular Therapy”, “Journal of Orthopedics – Translation” and the “European Journal of Musculoskeletal Diseases”.
